Larson Design Group (LDG) is offering the following full-time opportunity in our Williamsport, PA office for a motivated, self-starter to join our team. The Information Technology team member is responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of computer systems hardware and software. This includes the administration of servers, desktop/laptop computers, printers, mobile devices, software deployment, and software patching. The Systems Administrator I will diagnose hardware and software problems, replace defective components and assist end users with reported technical issues and training. He/she must also identify opportunities to improve and/or automate system administration tasks and hardware/software deployment processes.


  • Install new and rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Maintain installation and configuration procedures and related documentation.
  • Accountable for daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up according to policies.
  • Provide second-level support to end users.
  • Perform regular file archival and purge processes as necessary.
  • Schedule and apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis.
  • Maintain system anti-virus protection.
  • Become an effective backup to Systems Administer III.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2 year technical degree and/or equivalent work related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Certifications preferred: A+, MSCE, MCSA.
  • Windows server and desktop operating systems installation/support experience.
  • 1 to 3 years systems administration experience in an enterprise work environment, 3 to 5 years experience is preferred.
  • Travel as needed. 10% of time
